Appointments
For information about appointments during COVID-19 and our plan to keep patients and staff safe while we serve you, please see our Homepage.
We encourage you to see your family doctor for all routine and urgent medical concerns to ensure continuity of care.
-Please book your doctor’s appointments well in advance.
-In case of an urgent medical problem every effort is made to accommodate you. To this end, most of our physician’s provide short same day appointments.
-If there is no appointment available with your family doctor, we offer a walk in service. Walk in hours are listed here.
-To make the most our of your doctor’s visit, please bring your prescription medication with you and know which non-prescription medicines you are taking.
-We try to address all your concerns, however time constraints may not allow your physician to deal with more than one or two problems in a single visit. It is also in your interest to have the doctor spend sufficient time on one health issue. You are welcome to book further appointments to address other health concerns you might have.
Prescriptions
– We will not refill prescriptions over the phone.
– Please book an appointment well in advance to see your doctor before you run out of medication.
– If you require narcotic prescriptions (for non-cancer pain) or other potentially addictive medication your doctor will ask you to sign a medication contract. This is considered standard of care by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
